सं. आई-14013/59/2015-आईपीएस-1--माननीय केन्द्रीय प्रशासनिक अधिकरण, मुम्बई बेंच द्वारा ओ0 ए0 संख्या 8/2012 श्री के0 आर0 सैल्लर बनाम भारत सरकार में पारित आदेश दिनांक 25.02.2013 के आलोक में, भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (पदोन्नति द्वारा नियुक्ति) विनियम, 1955 के विनियम 7 के उप-विनियम (3) में निहित उपबंधों का प्रयोग करते हुए संघ लोक सेवा आयोग ने दिनांक 27.10.2016 को चयन समिति की दिनांक 18.07.2016 की रिव्यू बैठक को अनुमोदित कर दिया है, जिसके परिणामस्वरुप श्री के0 आर0 सैल्लर का चयन सूची 2004 के क्रम संख्या 0ए पर जो श्री एफ0 के0 पाटिल क्रम संख्या 1 नाम से पहले सम्मलित किए जाने के पश्चात, राष्ट्रपति, भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (पदोन्नति द्वारा नियुक्ति) विनियम, 1955 के विनियम 9 के उप-विनियम (1) के साथ पठित भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (भर्ती) विनियम, 1954 के विनियम 9 के उप-विनियम (1) में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, श्री के0 आर0 सैल्लर (जन्मतिथिः 12.12.1956) (पूर्व में चयन सूची 2005 से चयनित), को भारतीय पुलिस सेवा की चयन सूची-2004 में सभी परिणामी लाभांशों के साथ उन्हें परिवीक्षा पर नियुक्त करते हैं तथा उन्हें भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (संवर्ग) विनियम, 1954 के विनियम 5 के उप-विनियम (1) के अन्तर्गत महाराष्ट्र संवर्ग प्रदान करते हैं। इनकी नियुक्ति की तारीख श्री एफ0 के0 पाटिल जो इनके कनिष्ठ अधिकारी है कि दिनांक 27.01.2006 से मान्य होगी।

2. उपर्युक्त चयन सूची माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट में रिट पिटीशन संख्या 2978/2016 में दायर एस0एल0पी0 संख्या 32889/2016 में पारित अनंतिम आदेश दिनांक 26.11.2016 के आलोक में एस0एल0पी0 के परिणाम के अध्यधीन होगी।
