1. लघु ीष(cid:6981) और ु(cid:7271)आत :-
(1) इन ननयम(cid:7298) को र(cid:6979)ा मं(cid:7074)ालय (बई का पद) भत(cid:7278) (संोधन) ननयम, 2016 कहा ािए।
(2) ये ननयम ासक(cid:7409)य रापि(cid:7074) म(cid:7286) इनको (cid:7079)कानत (cid:7408)कए ािने क(cid:7409) तारीख से (cid:7079)र्भाी ह(cid:7298)गे।
2. र(cid:6979)ा मं(cid:7074)ालय (बई का पद) भत(cid:7278) ननयम, 2011 म(cid:7286) :-

S.R.O. 56.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Defence (Carpenter's posts) Recruitment Rules, 2011, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.-
(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Defence (Carpenter's posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Defence (Carpenter's posts) Recruitment Rules, 2011,-
(1) In rule 2, for the words "pay band and grade pay or pay scale" and "pay band and grade pay or scale of pay" , the words "level in the pay matrix" shall be substituted;
(2) In the schedule, in column (4),-
(a) for the heading, the following heading shall be substituted, namely:-
"Level in the pay Matrix" ;
(b) for the entries under column (4), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"Level 1 in the pay matrix (Rs. 18000-Rs 56900)"
