सन्थोश जे वरगीज (एसएस-35804एन) अब आईसी-55084वाई सिगनल्स जिनको 21 अगस्त 1998 से लेफ्टिनेंट के पद पर, पदोन्नति के लिए वरिष्ठता 19 अप्रैल 1994 लेकिन वेतन वृद्धि के लिए 21 अगस्त 1993 से स्थाई कमीशन दिया गया था और जिनका नाम राजपत्र अधिसूचना 282/99 में प्रकाशित दिया गया था, को थलसेना अनुदेश 1/एस/94 जैसा संसोधित एवं ऐड्जुटैन्ट जनरल शाखा के पत्र संख्या बी/32006/एस जे वी/ए जी/पी एस-2(ए) दिनांक 31 मार्च 2016 और सेना मुख्यालय पत्र संख्या 05506/एस एस सी/पी सी/एम एस 7बी दिनांक 19 जुलाई 2016 के साथ पठनीय के अन्तर्गत वेतन एवं पदोन्नति के लिए एक विशेष मामले के रुप में दो साल की पूर्व तिथि वरिष्ठता प्रदान की जाती है। इस पूर्व तिथि वरिष्ठता प्रदान करने एवं 21 अगस्त 1998 से स्थाई कमीशन देने पर उसकी पदोन्नति के लिये वरिष्ठता 19 अप्रैल 1992 और वेतन वृद्धि के लिये 25 अगस्त 1991 होगी। इस पूर्व तिथि वरिष्ठता के आधार पर उसे दिनांक 31 मार्च 2016 से पहले की वेतन वृद्धि एवं भतों का बकाया नही मिलेगा।
राजपत्र अधिसूचना 282 दिनांक प्रकाशित 08 मई 1999 को इस अफसर से सम्बन्धित है को एतद् द्वारा रद्द किया जाता है।
निम्नलिखित अल्प सेवा कमीशन प्राप्त अधिकारियों को उनके द्वारा 17 सितम्बर 2015 से अल्प सेवा कमीशन छोड़ने पर मेजर रैंक में 17 सितम्बर 2015 से स्थायी कमीशन प्रदान किया जाता है :-
