No. E-14011/1/2013-RBN—In supersession of the Ministry of Labour & Employment's Resolution No. E-14011/1/ 2009-RBN dated the 19.10.2010, amended from time to time, the Government of India have decided to reconstitute the Hindi Salahkar Samiti of the Ministry of Labour & Employment as under :—

32. Economic Adviser, Ministry of Labour & Employment Member-Secretary 2. Functions: The functions of the Samiti will be to advise the Ministry of Labour & Employment and its attached and subordinate offices on matters relating to the progressive use of Hindi for official purpose.

3. Tenure: The term of the Samiti will be three years from the date of its constitution. Members of Parliament, who are also members of the Samiti, shall cease to be members of the Samiti on dissolution of the House or on expiry of their terms or on otherwise ceasing to be members of the House. Ex-officio members of the Samiti shall continue as members as long as they hold the office by virtue of which they are members of the Samiti.

4. Headquarter: The Headquarter of the Samiti shall be at New Delhi.

5. Travelling & Other Allowances: The samiti will be a high level committee. The Non-official members will be paid travelling, the daily allowance for attending the meetings of the Samiti at the rates fixed by the Government of India from time to time.

ORDER

Ordered that a copy of this Resolution be communicated to all State Governments and Union Territory Administrations, Prime Minister's Secretariat, Cabinet Secretariat, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Rajya Sabha Secretariat, Niti Aayog, President's Secretariat, Comptroller and Auditor General of India, Accountant General, Central Revenues and all Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and all offices of the Ministry of Labour and Employment including Autonomous and Semi-autonomous Bodies.

Ordered also that the Resolution be published in the Gazette of India for General information.
