Udupi-Kasargode Transmission Limited having its registered office at F-1 "The Mira Corporate Suites" 1 & 2 Ishwar Nagar, Okhla Crossing, Mathura Road, New Delhi-110065, India, intends to apply to the Government of India to conferPART IV] THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, MAY 30, 2020 (JYAISHTHA 9, 1942) 705 upon him all the powers under Section-164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the placing of electric lines or electrical plant for the transmission of electricity or for the purpose of telephonic or telegraphic communication necessary for the proper coordination of works which telegraph authority posses under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or followed by commissioning, operation, maintenance and other works by the Government for the following transmission schemes—

400 kV 500 MVA, 400/220 kV ICTs: 2 nos. Bus reactors (63 MVAr): 2 nos. Line bays: 4 nos. ICT bays: 2 nos. Space for Line bays (future): 4 nos. Space for ICT bays (future): 2 nos.
220 kV Line bays: 6 nos. ICT bays: 2 nos. Space for Line bays (future): 6 nos. Space for ICT bays (future): 2 nos.
3. 2 Nos. of 400kV line Bays and Bus Bar Extension works at UPCL Switchyard.
The above transmission project has been accorded approval by the Government of India, Ministry of Power vide its letter dated 18.01.2019 under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003.
