No. 3-1/2015-Skt.I—The Government of India constituted a Society in 1987 namely Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratisthan at Ujjain with the objective to preserve, conserve and develop the oral tradition of Vedic studies for which the Pratisthan will undertake various activities such as support traditional vedic institutions and scholars, provide fellowships, scholarships etc. It has been registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 (XXI of 1860) No. 17451 in 1987. The name of the Pratisthan was changed to Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriiya Ved Vidya Pratisthan, Ujjain In May 1993.
In supersession to this Ministry's notification No.F.3-1/2015-Skt.I dated 05.06.2015, it is hereby notified that the General Body of the Pratisthan has been reconstituted in terms of Rule 4 of the Rules of Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriiya Ved Vidiya Pratisthan, Ujjain for a period of 5 years which will be with immediate effect and as mentioned below:
