इस सनमनत के (cid:7079)काय(cid:6981) सामानकि (cid:7008)याय और अनधकानरता मं(cid:7074)ालय (सामानकि (cid:7008)याय और अनधकानरता र्नभाग ता नद(cid:7390)ांगनि सन(cid:7334)करण र्नभाग) और उसके ननयं(cid:7074)णाधीन काया(cid:6981)लय(cid:7298) के सरकारी कामका ि म(cid:7286) नह(cid:7008)दी के (cid:7079)योग से संबंनधत मामल(cid:7298) ता इनसे संबंनधत आनुषंनगक और (cid:7079)ासंनगक मामल(cid:7298) पर सलाह देगी।
3. काय(cid:6981)काल
सनमनत के सद(cid:7021)य(cid:7298) का काय(cid:6981)काल साधारणत: इसके गठन की तारीख से तीनर् ष(cid:6981) होगा, बत(cid:7287) नक:
i. लोक सभा और रा(cid:6996)य सभा के मनोनीत सद(cid:7021)य(cid:7298) की सद(cid:7021)यता उनकी संसद की सद(cid:7021)यता समा(cid:7385) होते ही समा(cid:7385) हो ािएगी।
ii. सनमनत के पदेन सद(cid:7021)य उस समय तक बने रह(cid:7286)गे बि तकर् े इस पद पर काय(cid:6981) कर रहे ह(cid:7289), नसिके नातेर् े इस सनमनत के सद(cid:7021)य ह(cid:7289)।
iii. यनद नकसी सद(cid:7021)य के (cid:7004)यागप(cid:7074), मृ(cid:7004)यु इ(cid:7004)यानद से कोई नरन(cid:7334) होती है, तो इस नरन(cid:7334), म(cid:7286) ननयु(cid:7334) नकया गया सद(cid:7021)य तीनर् ष(cid:6981) के काय(cid:6981)काल की ेष र्अनध तक सद(cid:7021)य रहेगा।
5. सामा(cid:7008)य
सनमनत का मु(cid:6990)यालय नई नद(cid:7016)ली म(cid:7286) रहेगा, नक(cid:7008)तु सनमनत अपनी बैठक र्आ(cid:7019)यकता पने पर नद(cid:7016)ली से बाहर नकसी (cid:7021)ान पर भी कर सकती है।

राभिाषा र्नभाग, गृह मं(cid:7074)ालय के काया(cid:6981)लय (cid:6980)ापन सं(cid:6990)या II/20034/04/2005 रा.भा.(नीनत-2) नदनांक 03 र्ररी, 2006 (cid:7367)ारा यह उ(cid:7016)लेख नकया गया है नक चू ंनक के (cid:7008)(cid:7076)ीय मं(cid:7074)ालय(cid:7298)/र्नभाग(cid:7298) (cid:7367)ारा गनठत नह(cid:7008)दी सलाहकार सनमनतय(cid:7298) म(cid:7286) नानमत 15 गैर-सरकारी सद(cid:7021)य(cid:7298) म(cid:7286) 06 संसद सद(cid:7021)य होते ह(cid:7289), अत: टी.ए./डी.ए. (cid:7079र्)ाधान को नन(cid:7013)न (cid:7272)प से अनधक (cid:7021)प(cid:7397) नकया ािता है:—
(क) सनमनत म(cid:7286) नानमत सांसद(cid:7298) को ''संसद सद(cid:7021)य/ र्(ेतन, भ(cid:7275)ा र्एं प(cid:7286)न) अनधननयम, 1954'' के (cid:7079र्)ाधान(cid:7298) र्एं समय-समय पर ािरी नकए गए संोधन(cid:7298) ता उनके अधीन बनाए गए ननयम(cid:7298) के अनुसार या(cid:7074)ा भ(cid:7275)ां ता दैननक भ(cid:7275)ा नदया ािएगा।

No. E.11015/1/2018-Hindi.—In supersession of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment's Resolution No. 11015/1/2015-Hindi, dated 08 September, 2015 as amended from time to time, Government of India has decided to reconstitute Hindi Salahakar Samiti of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (Department of Social Justice & Empowerment and Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability). 3. FUNCTIONS:
The functions of this Samiti will be to advise the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (Department of Social Justice & Empowerment and Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability) for effective implementation of Official Language in its working and matters related thereto.
4. TENURE:
The tenure of the members of the Committee will normally be three years from the date of its reconstitution, provided that:
i. Members nominated from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha shall cease to be the members of the Samiti as soon as soon as they cease to be the Members of Parliament.
ii. The ex-officio members of the Committee shall continue so long as they hold office by virtue of which they are members of the Committee; and
iii. If a vacancy arises in the Samiti due to resignation, death etc. of a member, the member appointed in that vacancy will hold office for the residual term of the Committee.
5. GENERAL:
The Headquarters of the Committee shall be at New Delhi, but Samiti can hold its meetings in any other place other than Delhi, if necessary.
5. T.A/D.A. & Other Allowences
The Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, vide their Office Memorandum II/20034/04/2005-O.L. (Policy-2), dated 03 Februarry, 2006 has stated that as the 15 non-official members714 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, JULY 9, 2022 (ASADHA 18, 1944) [PART I—SEC. 1 include 6 Members of Parliament, nominated in the Hindi Salahakar Samitis constituted by Central Ministries/Departments, so the provision regarding traveling/daily allowance is made more elaborate in the following manner:-
(a) The Members of Parliament nominated in the Samiti will be paid Travelling Allowance and Daily Allowance as per the provisions in the "Members of Parliament (Salary, Allowance and Pension) Act, 1954", amendments issued from time to time and rules made thereunder.
(b) Travelling Allowance and Daily Allowance to other non-official members of the Samiti will be paid as per the guidelines contained in the Department of Official Language O.M. No. II/22034/04/86-OL(A-2) dated 22nd January, 1987 and in accordance with the prescribed rates and rules as amended from time to time by the Government of India.

Ordered that a copy of the Resolution be communicated to all Ministries/Departments of Government of India, all State Governments and Union Territory Administrations, President's Secretariat, Prime Minister's Office, Cabinet Secretariat, Committee of Parliament on Official languages, Ministry of Parliament Affairs, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Rajya Sabha Secretariat, Niti Ayog, Comptroller and Auditor General of India, Accountant General Central Revenaue, Pay & Accounts Officer, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (Department of Social Justice & Empowerment and Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability).
