सनमनत का काय(cid:6981)काल सनमनत के गठन की तारीख से नन(cid:7388)नलनखत त(cid:7300) के अधीन तीनर् ष(cid:6981) का होगा :
(क) ोि संसद सद(cid:7021)य सनमनत के सद(cid:7021)य ह(cid:7289),र् े संसद सद(cid:7021)य न रहने पर इस सनमनत के सद(cid:7021)य नह(cid:7277) रह(cid:7286)गे।
(ख) सनमनत के पदेन सद(cid:7021)य अपने पद पर काय(cid:6981) करते रहने तक ही इस सनमनत के सद(cid:7021)य रह(cid:7286)गे; और
(ग) नकसी सद(cid:7021)य (cid:7367)ारा सनमनत की सद(cid:7021)यता से (cid:7004)यागप(cid:7074) देने र्अा नकसी कारर्ण नर(cid:7334) (cid:7263)ए (cid:7021)ान पर मनोनीत सद(cid:7021)य सनमनत के काय(cid:6981)काल की ेष र्अनध के नलए सद(cid:7021)य ह(cid:7298)गे।

सनमनत का मु(cid:6990)यालय नई नद(cid:7016)ली म(cid:7286) होगा परंतु बैठक का आयोनि नकसी अ(cid:7008)य (cid:7021)ान पर भी नकया ाि सकता है।

सनमनत की बैठक(cid:7298) म(cid:7286) भाग लेने के नलए सनमनत के गैर-सरकारी सद(cid:7021)य(cid:7298) को राभिाषा र्नभाग, गृह मं(cid:7074)ालय के नदनांक 3 र्ररी, 2006 के का.(cid:6980)ा. सं. II/20034/04/2005-रा.भा. (नीनत-2) के अनुसार नन(cid:7388)नलनखत के अनुसार या(cid:7074)ा भ(cid:7275)ा ता दैननक भ(cid:7275)ा देय होगा:
(क) सनमनत के नानमत संसद सद(cid:7021)य(cid:7298) को "संसद सद(cid:7021)य र्(ेतन, भ(cid:7275)ा र्एं प(cid:7286)न) अनधननयम, 1954" के (cid:7079र्)ाधान(cid:7298) र्एं समय-समय पर ािरी नकए गए संोधन(cid:7298) ता उनके अधीन बनाए गए ननयम(cid:7298) के अनुसार या(cid:7074)ा भ(cid:7275)ा ता दैननक भ(cid:7275)ा नदया ािएगा; और (ख) सनमनत के अ(cid:7008)य गैर-सरकारी सद(cid:7021)य(cid:7298) को राभिाषा र्नभाग के नदनांक 22 र्निरी, 1987 के काया(cid:6981)लय (cid:6980)ापन सं(cid:6990)या II/22034/04/86-रा.भा.(क-2) म(cid:7286) नननहत नदाननद(cid:7287)(cid:7298) के अनु(cid:7272)प और भारत सरकार (cid:7367)ारा समय-समय पर संोनधत ननधा(cid:6981)नरत दर(cid:7298) र्एं ननयम(cid:7298) के अनुसार या(cid:7074)ा भ(cid:7275)ा ता दैननक भ(cid:7275)ा देय होगा।

The functions of the Samiti are to render advice to the Departments of Revenue, Expenditure and Investment and Public Asset Management & Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India of the Ministry of Finance on matters relating to progressive use of Hindi for Official purposes in accordance with the guidelines contained in the Constitution, Official Language acts and rules and policy decisions of the Kendriya Hindi Samiti and instructions issued by the Department of Official Language.
TENURE OF THE COMMITTEE
The term of Committee will be three years from the date of its formation provided that:
(i) A Member of Parliament nominated to the Committee shall cease to be its member of the committee as soon as he ceased to be a Member of Parliament;
(ii) The ex-officio members of the committee shall continue to be members so long as they hold the posts on which they have become member of the committee; and
(iii) A person appointed for the vacant post during the tenure of Committee will be a member only for the remaining tenure of three years only.
GENERAL
The Headquarters of the committee shall be at New Delhi but may hold its meeting at any other place also.
ALLOWANCES
The Non-official members of the committee will be paid travelling and daily allowances for attending the meetings of the committee in terms of the provisions contained in the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, office memorandum no. II/20034/04/2005-OL(Policy-2) dated 3rd February, 2006 in the following manner:
(i) The Members of Parliament nominated in the Committee will be paid travelling allowances as per the provision in the "Members of Parliament (Salary, Allowances and Pension Act, 1954", as amended from time to time and rules framed thereunder, and
(ii) Travelling allowances and daily allowances to other non-official members of the Committee will be paid as per the guidelines contained in the Department of Official Language O.M. No. II/22034/04/86-OL(A-2) dated 22nd January, 1987 and in accordance with the rates and rules prescribed from time to time by the Government of India.

Ordered that a copy of this Resolution be communicated to President's Secretariat, Prime Minister's Office, Cabinet Secretariat, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Rajya Sabha Secretariat, NITI Aayog, UPSC, Chief Pay and Accounts Officer, Comptroller and Auditor General of India, Director of Audit Central Revenue, all the Members of the Committee, and all Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.
It is also ordered that the resolution be published in the Gazette of India for general information.
