का.नि.आ. 59.—प्रादेशिक सेना अधिनियम, 1948 के धारा 14 द्वारा प्रदान अधिकारों के अंतर्गत कें द्र शासन प्रादेशिक सेना नियम, 1948 में निम्नलिखित सुधारणा करती है:-
1. संक्षिप्त शीर्षक एवं लागु होने की तिथि –
(1) यह नियम प्रादेशिक सेना (संशोधन) नियम, 2022 के शीर्षक से सम्बोधित होंगे।
(2) यह नियम भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित होने वाली तिथि से प्रभाव में आएँगे।
2. प्रादेशिक सेना नियम, 1948 के अनुछेद 55 में निम्नलिखित सुधारित अनुछेद परिर्वर्तत किये जाएंगे :-
"55 भर्ती क्षेत्र - प्रभागीय - भर्ती निम्नानुसार क्षेत्रीय आधार पर होगी -

टिप्पणी : प्रादेशिक सेना नियम, 1948 (संशोधित संस्करण 1976) 55 के अनुछेद को सां. नि. आ. 37 दिनांक 11 अगस्त, 2010 द्वारा के वल जम्मू कश्मीर के प्रत्याशियो को जम्मू कश्मीर के अंतर्गत ही प्रादेशिक सेना में [भाग II—खण्ड 4] भारत का राजपत्र : अक्तूबर 22, 2022/आश्विन 30, 1944 257
कमीशन प्राप्त करने हेतु आयोजित प्रारंभिक साक्षात्कार समिति में सम्मिलित होने में सुविधा प्रदान करने हेतु सुधारित कर क्षेत्र -5 का निर्माण किया गया था। उपरोक्त निर्माण सां. नि. आ. 37 दिनांक 11 अगस्त, 2010 के प्रकाशित होने की तिथि से वत्तर्मान तिथि के मध्य कालावधी में घटित किसी भी भर्ती एवं स्थानांतरण पर किसी भी प्रकार का प्रभाव नहीं डालता है । 11 अगस्त, 2010 से वतर्मान तिथि तक घटित भर्ती एवं स्थानांतरण आदि विषयो के सन्दर्भ हेतु जम्मू और कश्मीर क्षेत्र -1 का ही भाग माना जाएगा ।

S.R.O. 59.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Territorial Army Act, 1948 (56 of 1948), the Central Government hereby make the following amendments further to amend the Territorial Army Regulations, 1948, namely :-
1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These regulations may be called the Territorial Army (Amendment) Regulations, 2022.
(2) They shall come in to force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Territorial Army Regulations, 1948, for paragraph 55, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:-
"55. Recruiting-Zonal-Divisions. – Recruiting will be on Zonal basis as under:-

| Zone I | Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Union Territories of Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh. |
| Zone II | Bihar Chhattisgarh Jharkhand Madhya Pradesh Odisha Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh |
| Zone III | Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, West Bengal, and Union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. |
| Zone IV | Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra Rajasthan Union territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry. |

258 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : OCTOBER 22, 2022/ASVINA 30, 1944 [PART II—SEC. 4]Note : The creation of Zone-V by amending Para 55 of the Territorial Army Regulations, 1948 (Revised Edition - 1976) vide SRO 37 dated the 11th August, 2010 was carried out with the sole purpose of facilitating the conduct of Preliminary Interview Board in respect of the candidates of Jammu and Kashmir for Territorial Army Commission within Jammu and Kashmir itself. The same creation, however, bears no implication on the recruitment and transfers of the Territorial Army personnels, that may have occurred during the period between the publication of the said SRO, dated the 11th August, 2010 and today. For the purpose of recruitment and transfers with effect from dated the 11 th August, 2010 till today, Jammu and Kashmir be construed as a part of Zone-I only.
