2. The tenure of the committee shall be for a period of three years i.e., up to 24.01.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

3. The Committee would be responsible for providing protection against sexual harassment of women in the Rajya Sabha Secretariat and redressal of complaints of sexual harassment and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

4. The Committee will exercise the powers conferred in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, and perform the duties and responsibilities as assigned to it under the said Act or as assigned by the Rajya Sabha Secretariat from time to time.
