सं. 1/3/2022-पीडी—इस कार्यालय के दिनांक 22.03.2023 के समसंख्यक अधिसूचना, जिसके द्वारा सीएसआईआर की शासी निकाय का पुनर्गठन दिनांक 17 मार्च, 2023 से तीन वर्ष की अवधि के लिए किया गया था, के अनुक्रम में सामान्य सूचनार्थ यह अधिसूचित किया जाता है कि श्री एस सोमनाथ, अंतरिक्ष विभाग के सचिव और इसरो अध्यक्ष की सेवानिवृत्ति के परिणामस्वरूप अब वह सीएसआईआर की शासी निकाय के सदस्य नही है । तदनुसार, भारत के माननीय प्रधानमंत्री ने सीएसआईआर के अध्यक्ष की हैसियत से सीएसआईआर के नियम एवं विनियमों के नियम 29 (च ) के अनुसार "भारत सरकार के दो वैज्ञानिक विभागों/एजेंसियों के प्रधान" की श्रेणी के अंर्तगत सीएसआईआर की शासी निकाय की शेष अवधि, जो कि दिनांक 16.03.2026 तक या अगले आदेश तक, जो भी पहले हो के लिए डॉ वी नारायणन, अंतरिक्ष विभाग के सचिव और इसरो अध्यक्ष को श्री एस सोमनाथ के स्थान पर सदस्य के रूप में नामित करने का अनुमोदन प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय के दिनांक 28.02.2025 के आई डी संख्या 5895611/2025-HR द्वारा प्रदान किया हैं ।

New Delhi, the 4th March 2025
No. 1/3/2022-PD—In continuation to this Office Notification of even number dated 22.03.2023, reconstituting the Governing Body of CSIR for a period of three years with effect from 17th March, 2023, it is further notified for general information that consequent upon the retirement of Shri S. Somanath, former Secretary, Department of Space and Chairman, ISRO, he ceases to be the member of the Governing Body of CSIR. The Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, as the President, CSIR has approved the nomination of Dr. V. Narayanan, Secretary, Department of Space and Chairman, ISRO in place of Shri S. Somanath, as a member of Governing Body of CSIR under the category of "Heads of two Scientific Departments/Agencies of the Government of India" under clause 29 (vi) of CSIR Rules & Regulations for the remaining tenure of the present Governing Body of CSIR i.e. up 16.03.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier vide PMO ID No. 5895611/2025-HR dated 28.02.2025.
