2. All the aforesaid officers are placed on probation to the post of Scientist-B for a period of two years w.e.f. the date of assumption of charge i.e. w.e.f. 24.03.2025 (AN). They are entitled to exercise option for pay fixation under FR 22(1)(a)(1) within 30 days from the date of notification.
3. The appointment/ promotion of the above officers in the grade of Scientist B [Level-10] would be subject to further orders that may be passed by the Supreme Court of India in Jarnail Singh batch of cases which is pending in the Supreme Court.
