सं. एआई-17011/1/2023-एआईपीएसयू-डीबीटी [एफटीएस-18871]—मोहाली, पजांब में स्थित स्वायत्तशासी संस्थान अर्थात् राष्ट्रीय कृ षि खाद्य जैवप्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (एनएबीआई) और नवोन्मेषी एवं अनुप्रयुक्त जैवप्रसंस्करण कें र (सीआईएबी) भविष्य में एक निदेशक (अर्थात कार्यकारी निदेशक, एनएबीआई के नेतृत्व में) की सहायता से एक ही स्वायत्तशासी संस्थान अर्थात राष्ट्रीय कृ षि-खाद्य तथा जैवविनिर्माण संस्थान (बीआरआईसी-एनएबीआई) के रूप में कार्य करेगा। इस नए स्वायत्तशासी संस्थान का नया चिन्ह निम्नानुसार होगा।

सं. 9-3/2017-यू 3(ए)—जबकि, कें र सरकार को विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (यूजीसी) अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत यूजीसी की सलाह पर उच्चतर शिक्षा के किसी संस्थान को सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्थान घोषित करने का अधिकार प्राप्त है।

2. और जबकि, यूजीसी अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, इस मंत्रालय ने यूजीसी की सलाह पर दिनांक 29.11.2019 की अधिसूचना संख्या 9-3/2017-यू.3(ए) के तहत चैतन्य डिग्री कॉलेज (स्वायत्त), हनमकोंडा, वारंगल, तेलंगाना को संभावित तिथि के साथ पांच वर्ष की अंतरिम अवधि के लिए सामान्य श्रेणी के अंतर्गत चैतन्य विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, वारंगल, तेलंगाना के नाम पर एक सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्थान घोषित किया है।

3. और जबकि, इस मंत्रालय ने दिनांक 29.11.2019 की अधिसूचना संख्या 9-3/2017-यू3(ए) के तहत चैतन्य विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (सम विश्वविद्यालय), हनमकोंडा, वारंगल का नाम बदलकर चैतन्य (सम विश्वविद्यालय), हनमकोंडा, वारंगल कर दिया।

4. और जबकि, इस मंत्रालय ने यूजीसी की सलाह पर दिनांक 21.07.2023 की अधिसूचना संख्या 9-3/2017-यू.3(ए) के तहत चैतन्य (सम विश्वविद्यालय), हनमकोंडा, वारंगल को अपने मुख्य परिसर को हनमकोंडा, वारंगल से हैदराबाद के आस-पास स्थानांतरित करने की अनुमति इस शर्त के साथ दी थी कि चैतन्य (सम विश्वविद्यालय) का हनमकोंडा, वारंगल परिसर इस अधिसूचना के जारी होने की तिथि से एक वर्ष के बाद अस्तित्व में नहीं रहेगा।

5. और आगे, जबकि चैतन्य (सम विश्वविद्यालय), हैदराबाद, तेलंगाना द्वारा अपने सम विश्वविद्यालय के दजे को दिनांक 28.11.2024 से आगे बढ़ाने के लिए एक प्रस्ताव प्रस्तुत किया गया था। यूजीसी से अनुरोध किया गया था कि वह प्रस्ताव की जांच करें और इस मंत्रालय को अपनी सलाह प्रस्तुत करें।

6. और जबकि, यूजीसी ने दिनांक 24.03.2025 के अपने पत्र संख्या 1-5/2023 (सीपीपी-आई/डीयू) के माध्यम से सूचित किया कि यूजीसी (सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्थान) विनियम, 2023 के अनुसार यूजीसी विशेषज्ञ समिति की मदद से आवेदन की जांच की गई। विशेषज्ञ समिति ने सम विश्वविद्यालय का दर्जा बढ़ाने की सिफारिश की। आयोग ने 13.03.2025 को आयोजित अपनी 588वीं बैठक (मद संख्या 2.07) में यूजीसी विशेषज्ञ समिति की सिफारिश पर विचार किया और उसे अनुमोदित किया।

7. अब, इसलिए, यूजीसी की सलाह पर, कें र सरकार, एतदद्वारा यूजीसी अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, चैतन्य, हैदराबाद, तेलंगाना का सम विश्वविद्यालय का दर्जा दिनांक 28.11.2024 से आगे बढ़ाती है।

8. इस मंत्रालय की पूर्व अधिसूचनाओं में उल्लिखित अन्य सभी शतों के साथ-साथ यूजीसी और अन्य सांविधिक परिषदों के समय-समय पर जारी नियमों/विनियमों का चैतन्य (सम विश्वविद्यालय), हैदराबाद, तेलंगाना द्वारा पालन किया जाना जारी रहेगा।

पूणेन्दु किशोर बनर्जी

संयुक्त सचिव266 भारत का राजपत्र, मई 3, 2025 (वैशाख 12, 1947) [भाग I—खण्ड 1 सं. 9-5/2024-यू.3(ए)—जबकि, कें र सरकार को विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (यूजीसी) अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत यूजीसी की सलाह पर, उच्चतर शिक्षा संस्थान को समविश्वविद्यालय संस्थान घोषित करने का अधिकार प्राप्त है।

2. और जबकि, यूजीसी अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत भारतीय फिल्म और टेलीविजन संस्थान (एफटीआईआई), पुणे को विशिष्ट श्रेणी के अंतर्गत सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्थान का दर्जा प्रदान करने के लिए भारतीय फिल्म और टेलीविजन संस्थान सोसायटी (एफटीआईआई सोसायटी), पुणे द्वारा यूजीसी के सम विश्वविद्यालय आवेदन पोर्टल पर एक ऑनलाइन आवेदन अपलोड किया गया था।

3. और जबकि, यूजीसी ने दिनांक 07.08.2024 के अपने पत्र संख्या 30-4/2024 (सीपीपी-आई/डीयू) के माध्यम से सूचित किया कि यूजीसी विशेषज्ञ समिति ने यूजीसी (सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्थान) विनियम, 2023 के अनुसार आवेदन की जांच करने के बाद सिफारिश की कि भारतीय फिल्म और टेलीविजन संस्थान, पुणे को एक सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्थान के रूप में घोषित करने से पहले कु छ शतों को पूरा करने के लिए एफटीआईआई सोसाइटी को आशय पत्र (एलओआई) जारी किया जा सकता है। यूजीसी विशेषज्ञ समिति की सिफारिश पर आयोग द्वारा दिनांक 24.07.2024 को आयोजित अपनी 582वीं बैठक (मद संख्या 2.07) में विचार किया गया और अनुमोदित किया गया।

4. और जबकि, शिक्षा मंत्रालय ने यूजीसी की सलाह पर, भारतीय फिल्म और टेलीविजन संस्थान, पुणे को एक समविश्वविद्यालय संस्थान के रूप में घोषित करने से पूर्व तीन वर्ष की अवधि के भीतर कु छ शतों को पूरा करने के लिए एफटीआईआई सोसाइटी को आशय पत्र (एलओआई) जारी किया।

5. और आगे जबकि, भारतीय फिल्म और टेलीविजन संस्थान, पुणे के निदेशक ने दिनांक 17.01.2025 के अपने पत्र के माध्यम से एलओआई की शतों की अनुपालन रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की, जिसे सत्यापन और उसकी सलाह के लिए यूजीसी को भेजा गया। यूजीसी ने अनुपालन रिपोर्ट उसी विशेषज्ञ समिति के समक्ष रखी जिसने आशय पत्र (एलओआई) जारी करने की सिफारिश की थी। विशेषज्ञ समिति ने संस्थान की अनुपालन रिपोर्ट स्वीकार की। यूजीसी विशेषज्ञ समिति की सिफारिश पर आयोग द्वारा दिनांक 13.03.2025 को आयोजित अपनी 588वीं बैठक (मद संख्या 7.02) में विचार किया गया और अनुमोदित किया गया।

6. अब, इसलिए, यूजीसी अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, शिक्षा मंत्रालय, एतदद्वारा यूजीसी की सलाह पर, भारतीय फिल्म और टेलीविजन संस्थान, पुणे को एक विशिष्ट श्रेणी के तहत एक समविश्वविद्यालय संस्थान के रूप में घोषित करता है। उक्त घोषणा निम्नलिखित शतों के अध्यधीन है:

i. यूजीसी और कें र सरकार की पूर्व अनुमति के बिना, समविश्वविद्यालय संस्थान/या इसके घटक शिक्षण इकाइयों की परिसंपत्तियों या निधियों/राजस्व का अन्यत्र उपयोग नहीं किया जाएगा।

ii. एफटीआईआई, पुणे किसी भी ऐसी गतिविधि में शामिल नहीं होगा जो वाणिज्यिक और लाभ कमाने वाली प्रकृ ति की हो।

iii. एफटीआईआई, पुणे में संचालित किए जाने वाले शैक्षणिक कार्यक्रम यूजीसी और संबंधित सांविधिक परिषदों/निकायों द्वारा निर्धारित मानदंडों और मानकों के अनुरूप होंगे।

iv. एफटीआईआई, पुणे नए शैक्षणिक पाठ्यक्रम/कार्यक्रम, ऑफ-कैं पस, ऑफ-शोर कैं पस के वल यूजीसी द्वारा समय-समय पर इस विषय पर जारी मानदंडों और दिशानिदेशों के अनुसार शुरू करेगा।

v. एफटीआईआई, पुणे अनुसंधान कार्यक्रमों के साथ-साथ डॉक्टरेट और नवीन शैक्षणिक कार्यक्रमों को शुरू करने के लिए उचित कदम उठाएगा। संस्थान के वल वतर्मान में नए उभरते क्षेत्रों तक ही सीमित नहीं रहेगा, बल्कि यह यूजीसी विनियमों/दिशानिदेशों के साथ-साथ राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति-2020 के अनुसार अन्य क्षेत्रों में भी विस्तार करने का प्रयास करेगा।

vi. एफटीआईआई, पुणे सभी पात्र शैक्षणिक पाठ्यक्रमों/कार्यक्रमों को राष्ट्रीय प्रत्यायन बोर्ड (एनबीए) द्वारा वैध प्रत्यायन के लिए मूल्यांकित कराने और संस्थान को समय-समय पर संशोधित यूजीसी (सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्थान) विनियम, 2023 में निहित प्रावधानों के अनुसार, राष्ट्रीय मूल्यांकन एवं प्रत्यायन परिषद (एनएएसी) द्वारा वैध मान्यता प्राप्त करने के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठाएगा।

vii. छात्रों के प्रवेश, छात्रों की प्रवेश क्षमता, शैक्षणिक पाठ्यक्रम/कार्यक्रम के अनुमोदन का नवीनीकरण, छात्रों की प्रवेश क्षमता में संशोधन, नए पाठ्यक्रम/कार्यक्रम शुरू करने आदि के मामले में संबंधित सांविधिक परिषदों के सभी निर्धारित मानदंड और प्रक्रियाएं लागू रहेंगी और एफटीआईआई, पुणे द्वारा उनका पालन किया जाएगा।

viii. एफटीआईआई, पुणे यूजीसी (सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्थान) विनियम, 2023 के प्रावधानों के अनुसार अपना संशोधित संगम ज्ञापन (एमओए)/नियम यूजीसी/शिक्षा मंत्रालय को जल्द से जल्द प्रस्तुत करेगा। जब भी आवश्यक होगा, संस्थान प्रचलित विनियमों के प्रावधानों के अनुसार अपने एमओए/नियमों को अद्यतित या संशोधित करेगा।

ix. एफटीआईआई, पुणे यूजीसी और प्रासंगिक सांविधिक परिषदों के नियमों और विनियमों के अनुसार शुल्क संरचना का पालन करेगा।

x. एफटीआईआई, पुणे इस मंत्रालय के राष्ट्रीय संस्थागत रैंककं ग फ्रे मवर्क (एनआईआरएफ) द्वारा जारी र्वार्षक भारतीय रैंककं ग में भाग लेगा।

xi. एफटीआईआई, पुणे को अनिवार्य रूप से अकादमिक बैंक ऑफ क्रे डिट (एबीसी) बनाना होगा, अपने विद्र्यार्थयों की पहचान करनी होगी तथा उनके क्रे डिट स्कोर को डिजिटल लॉकर में अपलोड करना होगा और यह सुनितिि करना होगा कि क्रे डिट स्कोर एबीसी पोर्टल में दिखाई दें तथा समर्थ ई-गवनेंस को अपनाना होगा।

2. और जबकि, यूजीसी ने अपने दिनांक 07.08.2024, के पत्र सं. 45-1/2024 (सीपीपी-आई/डीयू) के माध्यम से सत्यजीत रे फिल्म एंड टेलीविजन इंस्टीट्यूट (एसआरएफटीआई), कोलकाता, पमिि बंगाल को एक सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्था घोषित करने से पहले कु छ शतों को पूरा करने के लिए एसआरएफटीआई सोसाइटी को आशय पत्र (एलओआई) जारी करने की सिफारिश की थी।

3. और इसके अलावा जबकि, शिक्षा मंत्रालय ने, यूजीसी की सलाह पर, सत्यजीत रे फिल्म और टेलीविजन इंस्टीट्यूट (एसआरएफटीआई), कोलकाता, पमिि बंगाल को एक सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्थान के रूप में घोषित करने से पहले 3 वर्ष की अवधि के भीतर कु छ शतों को पूरा करने के लिए एसआरएफटीआई सोसाइटी को आशय पत्र (एलओआई) जारी किया था।

4. और जबकि, एसआरएफटीआई सोसायटी ने दिनांक 10.01.2025 के पत्र के माध्यम से आशय पत्र (एलओआई) की शतों की अनुपालन रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की। इस अनुपालन रिपोर्ट की यूजीसी विशेषज्ञ समिति द्वारा जांच की गई और स्वीकार किया गया। यूजीसी विशेषज्ञ समिति की सिफारिश पर आयोग द्वारा दिनांक 25.03.2025 को आयोजित अपनी 588वीं बैठक (मद संख्या 7.03) में विचार किया गया और उसे अनुमोदित किया गया।

5. अब, इसलिए, यूजीसी अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, शिक्षा मंत्रालय, एतद द्वारा यूजीसी की सलाह पर, सत्यजीत रे फिल्म और टेलीविजन संस्थान (एसआरएफटीआई), ईस्टर्न मेट्रोपॉलिटन बाईपास, पंचसायर, कोलकाता, पमिि बंगाल को एक विशिष्ट श्रेणी के तहत एक सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्था के रूप में घोषित करता है। उक्त घोषणा निम्नलिखित शतों के अध्यधीन है:

i. यूजीसी और कें र सरकार की पूर्व अनुमति के बिना, सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्था/या उसके संघटक शिक्षण इकाइयों की परिसंपत्तियों या निधियों/राजस्व का अन्यत्र उपयोग नहीं किया जाएगा।

ii. एसआरएफटीआई, कोलकाता किसी भी ऐसी गतिविधि में शामिल नहीं होगा जो वाणिज्यिक और लाभ अर्जन प्रकृ ति की हो।

iii. एसआरएफटीआई, कोलकाता में संचालित किए जाने वाले शैक्षणिक कार्यक्रम यूजीसी और संबंधित वैधानिक परिषदों/निकायों द्वारा निर्धारित मानदंडों और मानकों के अनुरूप होंगे।

iv. एसआरएफटीआई, कोलकाता इस विषय पर यूजीसी द्वारा समय-समय पर जारी किए गए मानदंडों और दिशानिदेशों के अनुसार ही नए शैक्षणिक पाठ्यक्रम/कार्यक्रम, ऑफ-कैं पस, ऑफ-शोर कैं पस शुरू करेगा।

v. एसआरएफटीआई, कोलकाता अनुसंधान कार्यक्रमों के साथ-साथ डॉक्टरेट और नवीन शैक्षणिक कार्यक्रम शुरू करने के लिए उचित कदम उठाएगा। यह संस्थान के वल वतर्मान में नए उभरते क्षेत्रों तक ही सीमित नहीं रहेगा बल्कि यह यूजीसी विनियमों/दिशानिदेशों के साथ-साथ राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति-2020 के अनुसार अन्य क्षेत्रों में भी विस्तार करने का प्रयास करेगा।

vi. एसआरएफटीआई, कोलकाता समय-समय पर यथा संशोधित यूजीसी (सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्था) विनियम, 2023 में निहित प्रावधानों के अनुसार, सभी पात्र शैक्षणिक पाठ्यक्रमों/कार्यक्रमों को राष्ट्रीय प्रत्यायन बोर्ड (एनबीए) और संस्थान को राष्ट्रीय मूल्यांकन और प्रत्यायन परिषद (एनएएसी) द्वारा वैध मान्यता प्राप्त करने के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठाएगा।

vii. विद्र्यार्थयों के प्रवेश, विद्र्यार्थयों की प्रवेश क्षमता, शैक्षणिक पाठ्यक्रम/कार्यक्रम के अनुमोदन के नवीनीकरण, विद्र्यार्थयों की प्रवेश क्षमता में संशोधन, नए पाठ्यक्रम/कार्यक्रम शुरू करने आदि के मामले में संबंधित वैधानिक परिषदों के सभी निर्धारित मानदंड और प्रक्रियाएं लागू रहेंगी, और एसआरएफटीआई, कोलकाता द्वारा उनका पालन किया जाएगा।

viii. एसआरएफटीआई, कोलकाता यूजीसी (सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्था) विनियम, 2023 के प्रावधानों के अनुसार यथाशीघ्र यूजीसी/शिक्षा मंत्रालय को अपना संशोधित संगम ज्ञापन (एमओए)/नियमावली प्रस्तुत करेगा। संस्थान जब भी आवश्यक हो, मौजूदा विनियमों के प्रावधानों के अनुसार अपने एमओए/नियमावली को अद्यतित या संशोधित या परिर्वर्तत करेगा।

ix. एसआरएफटीआई, कोलकाता यूजीसी और प्रासंगिक सांविधिक परिषदों की नियमावली और विनियमों के अनुसार शुल्क संरचना का पालन करेगा।

x. एसआरएफटीआई, कोलकाता इस मंत्रालय के राष्ट्रीय संस्थागत रैंककं ग फ्रे मवर्क (एनआईआरएफ) द्वारा जारी र्वार्षक भारतीय रैंककं ग में भाग लेगा।

No. 9-3/2017-U.3(A)—Whereas, the Central Government is empowered under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956 to declare, on the advice of the UGC, an Institution of higher learning as an Institution deemed to be University.

2. And whereas, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, this Ministry, vide Notification No.9-3/2017-U.3(A) dated 29.11.2019, on the advice of UGC, declared Chaitanya Degree College (Autonomous), Hanamkonda, Warangal, Telangana as an Institution deemed to be University in the name of Chaitanya Institute of Science & Technology, Warangal, Telangana under general category for a provisional period of five years with prospective date.

3. And whereas, this Ministry, vide Notification No.9-3/2017-U.3(A) dated 29.11.2019, rechristened the name of Chaitanya Institute of Science & Technology (Deemed to be University), Hanamkonda, Warangal to Chaitanya (Deemed to be University), Hanamkonda, Warangal.

4. And whereas, this Ministry, vide Notification No.9-3/2017-U.3(A) dated 21.07.2023, on the advice of UGC, permitted Chaitanya (Deemed to be University), Hanamkonda, Warangal for shifting of its main campus from Hanamkonda, Warangal to the vicinity of Hyderabad with condition that the Hanamkonda, Warangal campus of Chaitanya (Deemed to be University) will cease to exist after one year from the date of issuance of this Notification.

5. And further whereas, a proposal was submitted by Chaitanya (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad, Telangana for extension of its deemed to be University status beyond 28.11.2024. UGC was requested to examine the proposal and submit its advice to this Ministry.

6. And whereas, UGC, vide its letter no. 1-5/2023 (CPP-I/DU) dated 24.03.2025 informed that the application was examined with the help of an UGC Expert committee in accordance with the UGC (Institutions deemed to be Universities) Regulations, 2023. The Expert Committee recommended for extension of the deemed to be University status. The Commission considered and approved the recommendation of UGC Expert Committee in its 588th meeting (Item No. 2.07) held on 13.03.2025.

7. Now, therefore, on the advice of UGC, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, hereby extends the deemed to be University status of Chaitanya, Hyderabad, Telangana beyond 28.11.2024.

8. All the other conditions mentioned in the earlier Notification(s) of this Ministry as well as the rules / regulations of UGC and other Statutory Councils, issued from time to time, shall continue to be adhered to by Chaitanya (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad, Telangana.

No. 9-5/2024-U.3(A)—Whereas, the Central Government is empowered under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956 to declare, on the advice of the UGC, an Institution of higher learning as an Institution deemed to be University.

2. And whereas, an online application was uploaded on UGC's Deemed Universities Application Portal by Film and Television Institute of India Society (FTII Society), Pune for grant of Institution Deemed to be University status under Distinct Category to Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.

3. And whereas, UGC, vide its letter No. 30-4/2024 (CPP-I/DU) dated 07.08.2024, informed that UGC Expert Committee, after examining the application as per the UGC (Institutions deemed to be Universities) Regulations, 2023, recommended that Letter of Intent (LoI) may be issued to FTII Society for fulfilment of certain conditions before declaration of Film and Television Institute of India, Pune as an Institution deemed to be University. The recommendation of UGC Expert Committee was considered and approved by the Commission in its 582nd meeting (Item No. 2.07) held on 24.07.2024.

4. And whereas, the Ministry of Education, on the advice of UGC, issued Letter of Intent (LOI) to FTII Society for fulfilment of the certain conditions within a period of three years before declaration of Film and Television Institute of India, Pune as an Institution deemed to be University.

5. And further whereas, Director, Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, vide his letter dated 17.01.2025, submitted compliance report of the conditions of the LoI which was then sent to UGC for verification and its advice. UGC placed the compliance report before the same Expert Committee which had recommended for issuance of Letter of Intent (LoI). The Expert Committee accepted the compliance report of the Institution. The recommendation of UGC Expert Committee was considered and approved by the Commission in its 588th meeting (Item No.7.02) held on 13.03.2025.

6. Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Ministry of Education, on the advice of the UGC, hereby declares Film and Television Institute of India, Pune as an Institution deemed to be University under distinct category. The said declaration is subject to the following conditions:

i. There shall be no diversion of assets or funds/revenues of the Institution Deemed to be University/or of its constituent teaching units, without prior permission of the UGC and Central Government.

ii. FTII, Pune shall not engage or indulge in any activities that are of commercial and profit making in nature.

iii. The academic programmes to be offered at FTII, Pune shall conform to the norms and standards prescribed by the UGC and the Statutory Councils/Bodies concerned.

iv. FTII, Pune shall start new academic Courses/Programmes, Off-Campus(es), Off-Shore Campus(es) only in accordance with the norms and guidelines issued by the UGC, from time to time, on the subject.

v. FTII, Pune shall take appropriate steps to commence research programmes as well as doctoral and innovative academic programmes. The Institute shall not keep confined only to presently new emerging areas but it make endeavour to expand in other areas in accordance with the UGC Regulations / Guidelines as well as National Education Policy-2020.

vi. FTII, Pune shall take all the required steps to get all the eligible academic courses/programmes rated for valid accreditation by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the Institute to get valid accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), as the case may be, in terms of the provisions as contained in the UGC (Institutions Deemed to be Universities) Regulations, 2023, as amended from time to time.

vii. All the prescribed norms and procedures of the Statutory Councils concerned in the matter of admission of students, intake capacity of students, renewal of approval to the academic course / programme, revision of intake capacity of students, starting of new courses / programmes, etc. shall continue to be in force, and shall be adhered to by FTII, Pune.

viii. FTII, Pune shall submit its revised Memorandum of Association (MoA) / Rules to UGC/ Ministry of Education as per the provisions of the UGC (Institutions deemed to be Universities) Regulations, 2023 at the earliest. As and when necessary, the Institute shall update or revise or modify its MoA / Rules, as per the provisions of the prevailing Regulations.
