2. सक्षम प्राधिकारी के अनुमोदन से, लोक शिकायत निदेशालय के कार्य-क्षेत्र का एतदद्वारा विस्तार करके इलेक्ट्रॉनिकी और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय (एमईआईटीवाई) के भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई) को इसके अंतर्गत शामिल किया जाता है।
