नई दिल्ली, दिनांक 23 जुलाई 2026
सं. 10-3/2026-यू.3(ए)—जबकि, स्वामी विवेकानंद योग अनुसंधान संस्थान (सम विश्वविद्यालय), बैंगलोर, कर्नाटक ने यूजीसी (सम विश्वविद्यालय संस्थान) विनियम, 2023 के अनुसार तिरुवनंतपुरम, के रल में एक ऑफ-कैं पस कें द्र शुरू करने के लिए यूजीसी पोर्टल पर अपना ऑनलाइन आवेदन अपलोड किया था।
2. और जबकि, यूजीसी ने दिनांक 08.05.2026 के अपने पत्र संख्या 26-1/2026 (सीपीपी-आई/डीयू) के माध्यम से सूचित किया कि आवेदन की स्थायी समिति द्वारा जांच की गई थी, जिसने कु छ शतों के साथ स्वामी विवेकानंद योग अनुसंधान संस्थान, बैंगलोर, कर्नाटक को आशय पत्र (एलओआई) जारी करने की सिफारिश की थी। तदनुसार, मंत्रालय ने यूजीसी की सलाह पर तिरुवनंतपुरम, के रल में एक ऑफ-कैं पस कें द्र शुरू करने से पहले 3 वर्ष की अवधि के भीतर कु छ शतों को पूरा करने के लिए स्वामी विवेकानंद योग अनुसंधान संस्थान (सम विश्वविद्यालय), बैंगलोर, कर्नाटक को दिनांक 01.06.2026 को आशय पत्र (एलओआई) जारी किया।
3. और आगे जबकि, कु लसचिव, स्वामी विवेकानंद योग अनुसंधान संस्थान, बैंगलोर, कर्नाटक ने दिनांक 03.06.2026 के पत्र के माध्यम से एलओआई की शतों को पूरा करने के लिए अनुपालन रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की। इसे सत्यापन और आगे की सलाह के लिए विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग को भेज दिया गया था। इसके जवाब में, यूजीसी ने दिनांक 09.07.2026 के पत्र संख्या 26-1/2026 (सीपीपी-आई/डीयू) के माध्यम से सूचित किया कि अनुपालन रिपोर्ट स्थायी समिति द्वारा स्वीकार कर ली गई थी। समिति की रिपोर्ट को यूजीसी के अध्यक्ष द्वारा अनुमोदित किया गया था।
4. अब, इसलिए, यूजीसी अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, शिक्षा मंत्रालय, यूजीसी की सलाह पर, एतद्द्वारा स्वामी विवेकानंद योग अनुसंधान संस्थान (सम विश्वविद्यालय), बैंगलोर, कर्नाटक को तिरुवनंतपुरम, के रल में एक ऑफ-कैं पस कें द्र शुरू करने की मंजूरी देता है।
5. स्वामी विवेकानंद योग अनुसंधान संस्थान (सम विश्वविद्यालय), बंगलौर, कर्नाटक इस मंत्रालय की पूर्व की अधिसूचनाओं में उल्लिखित अन्य सभी शतों के साथ समय-समय पर जारी यूजीसी और अन्य सांविधिक परिषदों के नियमों/विनियमों के प्रावधानों का पालन करेगा।

New Delhi, the 23rd July 2026
No. 10-3/2026-U.3(A)—Whereas, Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, Karnataka had uploaded its online application on UGC Portal to start an off-campus centre at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala as per the UGC (Institutions deemed to be Universities) Regulations, 2023.
2. And whereas, UGC, vide its letter No. 26-1/2026 (CPP-I/DU) dated 08.05.2026, informed that the application was examined by its Standing Committee, who recommended for issuance of Letter of Intent (LoI) to Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, Bangalore, Karnataka with certain conditions. Accordingly, the Ministry, on the advice of UGC, issued Letter of Intent (LoI) dated 01.06.2026 to Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, Karnataka for fulfilment of certain conditions within a period of 3 years before starting an off-campus centre at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
3. And further whereas, the Registrar, Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, Bangalore, Karnataka, vide letter dated 03.06.2026, submitted compliance report for fulfilment of the conditions of the LoI. The same was forwarded to UGC for verification and further advice. In response, UGC, vide letter No. 26-1/2026 (CPP-I/DU) dated 09.07.2026, informed that the compliance report was accepted by the Standing Committee. The report of the Committee was approved by the Chairman, UGC.
4. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Ministry of Education, on the advice of UGC, hereby accords approval to Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, Karnataka to start an off-campus centre at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
5. Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, Karnataka shall abide by all other conditions mentioned in the earlier Notification(s) of this Ministry as well as provisions of the Rules/Regulations of UGC and other Statutory Councils, issued from time to time.
