The 27th January, 2020
No. 17/10/1-FII(9)-2020/1545.—In super-session of the Chandigarh Administration, Chandigarh, Local Government Department's notification bearing No. 17/10/1/FII(8)-2013/10191, dated the 23rd October, 2013 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 12 of the Cattle Trespass Act, 1871 (As amended by State of Punjab and applicable before 01.11.1966). The notification will come into effect on the date of issuance.

2 Camel, Horse, Mare, Pony, Rs. 20,000/-
Mule, Donkey, Pig, Buffalo, Cow, Bull, Bullock, Heifer
3 Calf including calf fed on Rs. 3000/-
mother's milk
4 Piglet
Rs. 1800/-
5 Any other animal Rs. 4000/-
(A) The feeding charges for impounded cattle in respect of category mentioned at Sr. No. 1,3,4 and 5 shall be Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) per day and Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) per day for category No.2."
(B) The Cattle will be released as per the provision of Cattle Trespass Act, 1871.

No. 6/1/1137-FII(9)-2020/1808.—The Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 7 of "The Punjab Prohibition of Cow Slaughter Act 1955" and in accordance with the resolution passed by the General House of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh in its 259th Meeting, is pleased to approve levy of Cow Fee on the sale of following items :—

The concerned departments of Chandigarh Administration as mentioned above, will collect the Cow Fee and transfer the same to Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh. The order will come into force at start of the next financial year i.e 1st April, 2020.
