Order
In partial modification of the order issued vide No. 23/3/41-UTFI(3)-2006/5468—70, dated 05.09.2006 and further amended vide No. 23/3/41-UTFI(3)-2006/398-399, dated 19.01.2007 regarding allowing paying guest accommodation in residential areas of Union Territory, Chandigarh, the Chief Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers conferred under proviso to sub-rule (i) of Rule 9 of the Chandigarh Estate Rules, 2007 as amended from time to time, is pleased to amend clause 5 and add new clauses after clause 12 of the aforesaid order dated 05.09.2006 :—

Clause (5) The paying guest accommodations shall be permitted only in those residential properties, which are sanctioned as per building byelaws and wherein no unauthorized construction has taken place. Conditional registration will be done pending completion/ occupancy certificates, which is required to be taken within 6 months from the date of registration of the paying guest.
Clause (13) No Objection Certificate from the Chief Fire Officer, Union Territory, Chandigarh is mandatory.
Clause (14) The owner shall renew the paying guest license annually.
Clause (15) Enforcement squad shall check the paying guest accommodations on regular intervals.
Clause (16) The owner will give self-declaration that he/she will follow all the guidelines/rules of the govt. and in case of any violation, he/she will be responsible for all consequences thereof.

No. 13/1/9726-HII(2)-2020/4225.—In exercise of the Powers conferred by sub-section (i) of Section 17 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act No. 14 of 1947) read with Government of India, Ministry of Labour & Employment's Notification No. S-11025/21/2003-IR(PL), dated 28.7.2004, the undersigned hereby publish the following award bearing reference No. 34/2019, dated 08.02.2020 delivered by the Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, UT, Chandigarh between :

AWARD
1. This award shall dispose off the industrial dispute received in this Court under Section 2-A(2) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (hereinafter called 'ID Act').
2. Case of the workman in nutshell is that she joined the services of management as Maid-cum- Peon with effect from 09.09.2015 and worked continuously without any break or interruption in the services till 23.01.2019. She was verbally told that her services are no more required by the management and told to go out of the school premises.
3. During the pendency of the present industrial dispute, learned representative for the workman made the following statement :—
"In view of the notification as well as latest citation of the Hon'ble High Court, I may kindly be allowed to withdraw the present industrial dispute with the liberty to file a fresh one before the Hon'ble Education Tribunal, Union Territory Chandigarh."
Accordingly, the present industrial dispute is disposed off as withdrawn with a liberty to file a fresh before the Education Tribunal, Union Territory, Chandigarh. Appropriate Government be informed. File be consigned to the record room.
