Notification

No 13173-HIII(5)-2020/4468.—In continuation to earlier notification issued by this Administration,—vide No. 13173-HIII(5)-2020/4427, dated 10.04.2020 and in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of the sub section (1) of section 48 of the State Disaster Response Fund for the accounting procedure for the State Disaster Response Fund of UT, Chandigarh :—

1. The state authority shall be responsible for maintaining the accounting procedure as given below for transferring the money and send an advice to the Accountant General (A&E), UT, Chandigarh for accounting adjustment/settlement :—

Major Head 2245 Relief on Account of Natural Calamities Sub Major Head 02 Floods, Cyclone etc.

Minor Head 02.101 Gratuitous Relief

04 State Disaster Relief Fund

The fund as per the Budget provisions will be maintained under the following head of account and expenditure will be incurred accordingly:—

Since the expenditure is to be met from the State Disaster Response Fund, following adjustments shall be carried out by the Accountant General (A&E), UT Chandigarh in the annual accounts of the Chandigarh
