No. 10732-IH(8)-2019/16513.—In supersession of Chandigarh Administration, Home Department's Notification No. 8/7/2-IH(8)-2019/10305, dated 02.05.2016 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 (1) and 3A of the Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts Act, 2015 as amended from time to time and all other powers in this behalf, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh in consultation with Punjab and Haryana High Court hereby reconstitutes the Courts of Additional District Judge-I, II and III in U.T., Chandigarh as Commercial Courts to try cases of "Specified Value" of more than Rs. 50 lacs and also designate the said Courts as Commercial Appellate Courts for hearing appeals arising out of the judgments, decrees and orders passed by the Commercial Courts at the level of Civil Judge (Senior Division)/Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) and Civil Judge (Junior Division) have more than five years service.

No. 10732-IH(8)-2019/16516.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 (1) of the Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts Act, 2015 as amended from time to time and all other powers in this behalf, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh in consultation with Punjab and Haryana High Court hereby constitutes the Court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) or Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) or Civil Judge (Junior Division) having more than five years service as "Commercial Court" to try cases of "Specialized Value" of not less than Rs.3 Lacs upto Rs. 50 Lacs.

No. 16583-IH(8)-2019/16616.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act No. 39 of 1987) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, in consultation with the Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court, is pleased to amend the Chandigarh Legal Services Authorities Rules 1997, namely :—
1. These rules may be called the Chandigarh Legal Services Authorities (Amendment) Rules, 2019.
2. These shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official gazette.
3. In Rules 13 (A) (v) of the Chandigarh Legal Services Authorities Rules, 1997 for the words/ designation "Chief Judicial Magistrate" the words/designation "Secretary, District Legal Services Authority" shall be substituted.
