No. 43/3/53-UTFI(5)-2020/9214.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 7 of the Capital of Punjab (Development and Regulation) Act, 1952, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to fix the development fees @ Rs. 1100/- per sq. yard in respect of Pocket No.2, Gobindpura, Manimajra, Union Territory, Chandigarh, in respect of the land released vide Notification No. 43/3/53-UTFI(5)- 2009/737-A, dated 11.02.2009 as detailed in the schedule given under :—

The aforesaid development fee shall be payable by each landowner/ transferee/ occupier as the case may be, for the actual area of the site/plot/land in his/her/their ownership/occupation in four annual equated installments without interest from the date of present notification.
In case, any landowner/ transferee/ occupier makes any default in the payment of development fee as fixed by this Administration then in addition to the amount of arrears recoverable, such landowner/ transferee/ occupier shall also be liable to pay interest @12% per annum compounded annually, as penalty from the date of default(s), which shall be recoverable in the manner prescribed under Section 8 of the Capital of Punjab (Development and Regulation) Act, 1952.

Memo No. MOH/SI(HQ)/2020/6433.—Whereas a draft of bye-laws for the registration of Pet Dogs in Chandigarh was published by the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh vide draft notification no. MOH/SI(HQ)/2020/205, dated 08/01/2020 inviting objections and suggestions from the general public within a period of 30 days from the date of publication.
And whereas the objections and suggestions which were received from the general public for and against the said draft bye-laws have been duly considered by the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh.
Now, therefore, the Administrator, Union Territory of Chandigarh, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under sub-section (1) of Sector 401 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal Corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act, 1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), hereby makes to following bye-laws, proposed to be made by the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh under Sector 325 and sub-section 1J(6) of Section 399 of the Act ibid, for regulating the registration and control of Pet Dogs in Chandigarh, namely :—
1. Short title- (i) These Bye-Laws may be called "The Chandigarh Registration of Pet Dogs (Amendment) Bye-laws 2020"
(ii) These shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the official Gazette of Chandigarh Administration
2. In "The Chandigarh Registration of Pet Dogs bye-laws 2010" in Clause No.3, the words and figures "Rs. 200" wherever occurring in the said Clause, shall be substituted with the words and figures "Rs. 500".
3. In "The Chandigarh Registration of Pet Dogs bye-laws 2010" in Clause no.14, the words and figures "Rs. 500", "Rs. 20" and "Rs. 100" wherever occurring in the said Clause, shall be substituted with the words and figures "Rs. 5000", "Rs. 200" and "Rs. 1000" respectively.
