No. CCF/84.—In compliance to letter F. No. 17-65/2020-WL, dated 10th July, 2020 from Govt. of India, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, New Delhi, the Administrator, UT, Chandigarh is pleased to notify the revised rates under scheme of Ex-Gratia in Human-Wildlife Conflict cases in respect of Union Territory, Chandigarh is as under :—
Sr. No. Nature of damage caused by wild animal Amount of ex-gratia relief (a) Death or permanent Incapacitation Rs. 5,00,000/-
(b) Grievous Injury Rs. 2,00,000/-
(c) Minor Injury
Cost of treatment up to Rs. 25,000/-
per person.
This will come into force with immediate effect.
