No. P-37495-IH(10)-2020/13854.—In partial modification of Chandigarh Administration, Home Department Notification bearing No. P-37495-IH(10)-2020/11088A, dated 20th August, 2020 relating to the grant of direct benefit transfer under the Scheme called "Union Territory, Chandigarh Institute Fellowship Scheme for Ph.D" to release fellowship / assistantship to Ph.D students of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University) and in compliance to the directions conveyed by Government of India vide its E-mail dated 4th September, 2020, the Administrator, Union Territory in pursuance of the powers conferred under Section 7 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016, makes following amendment, namely :—
(i) In the aforesaid notification dated 20th August, 2020, in 2nd para, for the words "Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University) (hereinafter referred to as the Department) be read as "Department of Technical Education under Home Department of Chandigarh Administration" (hereinafter referred to as the Department).
The aforesaid amendment shall come into effect from the date of its publication in the official gazette.

No. P-35135-IH(2)-2020/13901.—In partial modification of the Chandigarh Administration, Home Department, (Technical Education Branch) Notification No.P-35135-IH(2)-2020/9718/A, dated 20th July 2020, relating to the grant of Direct Benefit Transfer under the Scheme called the "Union Territory Chandigarh Scholarships/stipends of CCET to the students of B.E Courses" and in compliance to the directions conveyed by Government of India vide E-mail dated 27th August, 2020, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, in pursuance of the powers conferred under Section 7 of the Aadhar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services), Act, 2016, makes the following amendments, namely :—
(1) In the aforesaid notification dated 20th July 2020, the words "the Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (Degree Wing) (hereinafter referred to as the Department)" occurring in Para 2, shall be substituted with the words "the Department of Technical Education, Chandigarh Administration (hereinafter referred to as the Department)."
(2) In the aforesaid notification dated 20th July, 2020, the words "the Chandigarh Administration (hereinafter referred to as the Implementing Agency)" occurring in Para 2, shall be substituted with the words "the Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (Degree Wing) (hereinafter referred to as the Implementing Agency)".
(3) In the aforesaid Notification dated 20th July 2020, after the words "Economically weaker section students" occurring in Para 3, the words "(hereinafter referred to as the Benefit)" shall be added.
The aforesaid amendments shall come into effect from the date of its publication in the official gazette of Chandigarh Administration.
