No. C-45063.FII-(8)-2020/16415.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 8 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976, as extended to the Union Territory of Chandigarh by the Punjab Corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act, 1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), order No.6/1/45-FII- (8)-2020/13423, dated 15.10.2020, in pursuance of Notification No. 6/1/45-FII(8)-2020/15467, dated 09.12.2020 and after settlement of objection/suggestions, received during the prescribed period by the Delimitation Committee, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, is pleased to determine the number of single member wards and extent of each ward of the Municipal area of the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh, for the purpose of election of Councilors.
