No. F&PO(1)-2021/6573.—Based on the revised Pay Scales granted to different categories of employees w.e.f. 1.1.2006 in the Chandigarh Administration in pursuance of recommendations of the 5th Pay Commission issued by the Finance Department, Chandigarh Administration vide letter No.7000/1/2-F&PO(7)- 2000/4029, dated 11.6.2009 and further based on the 7th Central Pay Commission, the following higher pay scale is hereby granted to the post of Investigator as indicated in Column No.4 with immediate effect :—

2 . The grant of the aforesaid revised higher pay scales are subject to the following conditions as per Punjab Government, Finance Department letter No.7/87/2020-5FP1/1145, dated 29.10.2020 :—
(i) The instructions issued by the Govt. of Punjab, Department of Finance vide letter No.7/ 204/2015-4FP1/60, dated 15.1.2015 and letter No. 7/204/2015-4FP1/853793/1, dated 4.10.2016 duly adopted by this Administration vide letter No.28/70-IH(7)-2015/14387, dated 10.7.2015 and letter No.28/70-IH(7)-2016/33437, dated 22.12.2016 respectively shall be applicable in toto.
(ii) Except the aforesaid basic pay attached to various posts as indicated in Column No.4, as and when the Govt. of Punjab will take decision for grant of other allowances, the same will be implemented.
(iii) After receipt of the report of 6th Punjab Pay Commission, no further revision shall be effected in these pay scale/matrix for the newly recruited persons to the aforementioned category of post.

GAZ., JULY 01, 2021 (ASAR. 09, 1943 SAKA) (iv) It is clarified that these pay matrix shall be applicable to the persons to be recruited in future against the above mentioned post and shall not be applicable to the existing incumbents in any manner, whatsoever in terms of the Punjab Government, Department of Finance letter No.7/42/2020-5FP1/741-746, dated 17.7.2020 as adopted by the Finance Department, Chandigarh Administration vide letter No.7000/1/2-F&PO(7)./2020/12240, dated 17.9.2020.
(v) These pay matrix shall also be applicable to the posts wherever the recruitment/appointment (Direct/Compassionate) process has been initiated.
(vi) This issues with the concurrence of the Department of Finance, Chandigarh Administration conveyed vide their U.O. No.7000/1/41-F&PO(7)-2021/4634, dated 27.4.2021.
