No. CCFD/159.—In continuation to earlier notification issued by this Administration vide No CCFD/92, dated 13.06.2019 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) section 4 of the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Act, 2016 (38 of 2018), for the Accounting procedure for the Compensatory Afforestation Fund, following New Sub Head are opened under Major Head 2406 for State Compensatory Afforestation Fund of UT, Chandigarh :—
1. The receipts relating to Compensatory Afforestation monies from User Agencies shall be deposited under below mentioned Head of Account :—

The State Authority shall be responsible for maintaining the accounting procedure as given below for transferring of monies received from User Agencies and send an advice to the Accountant General (A&E), UT, Chandigarh for accounting adjustment/settlement every month.
