No. DSE-UT-S1-11(01)2021/2164.—Based on the revised Pay Scales granted to different categories of employees w.e.f. 01.01.2006 in the Chandigarh Administration in pursuance of recommendations of Fifth Punjab Pay Commission issued by the Finance Department, Chandigarh Administration vide letter No.7000/1/2-F&PO(7)-2009/4029, dated 11.06.2009, further based on the 7th Central Pay Commission, notified by the Govt. of Punjab, Deptt. of School Education vide notification dated 21.10.2020, the following higher revised pay scale for Future Recruitment is hereby granted to the following post as indicated in column No. 4 with immediate effect :—

2. The grant of the aforesaid revised pay scales are subject to the following conditions as per Punjab Government, Deptt. of School Education vide Notification No. 13/01/2020-5-Edu.7/277(1-50), dated 21.10.2020 :—
(i) The Instructions issued by the Government of Punjab, Department of Finance vide letter No. 7/204/2015-4F.P.1/60, dated 15.01.2015 and letter No. 7/204/2015-4F.P.1/853793, dated 04.10.2016 duly adopted by this Administration vide letter No. 28/70-IH(7)-2015/14387, dated 10.07.2015 and letter No. 28/70-IH(7)-2016/33437, dated 22.12.2016 respectively, shall be applicable in toto.
(ii) Except the aforesaid basic pay attached to various posts as per indicated in Column No. 4, as and when the Government of Punjab will take decision for grant of other allowances, the same will be implemented.
(iii) After receipt of the report of 6th Punjab Pay Commission, no further revision shall be effected in these pay scale/matrix for the newly recruited persons to the aforementioned categories of posts.
3. It is clarified that these pay matrix shall be applicable to the persons to be recruited in future against the above mentioned posts and shall not be applicable to the existing incumbents in any manner, whatsoever in terms of the Punjab Government, Department of Finance letter No. 7/42/2020-5FP1/741-746, dated 17.07.2020 as adopted by the Finance Department, Chandigarh Administration vide letter No. 7000/1/2-F&PO(7) 2020/1240, dated 17.09.2020
4. These pay matrix shall also be applicable for the posts wherever the recruitment/appointment (Direct/ Compassionate) process has been initiated.
5. This issued with the concurrence of the Department of Finance, Chandigarh Administration conveyed vide their U.O No.7000/1/42-F&PO(7)/2021/2378, dated 01.03.2021.

Notification

No. LD-2021/11654.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the National Security Act, 1980, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, hereby directs, the District Magistrate, Chandigarh, to make orders, directing any person to be detained under the said Act, with a view to preventing him/her from acting in any manner prejudicial to the security of the State or from acting in any manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order or from acting in any manner prejudicial to maintenance of supplies and services essential to the community.
This Notification shall remain in force for a period of three months, with effect from 26.08.2021.
