Banwarilal Purohit as Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh in addition to his duties as Governor of Punjab vide order of the President of India, dated the 27th August, 2021, conveyed vide Rashtrapati Bhavan, communication bearing No. 31-CA(I)/2021, dated the 27th August, 2021, Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, has assumed the charge as Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh in the afternoon of the 31st August, 2021.
