No. 6/1/MCCE/SEC/CHD/18/2021/301.—In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (3) of Section 8 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal Corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act, 1994 and in pursuance of the directions of The Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh issued vide Local Government Department, Chandigarh Administration Order bearing No.C-45063-FII(8)-2021/9577, dated 27.08.2021 prescribing the manner of reservation of wards of the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh to be done by public draw of lot etc., in accordance with the proviso to Section 6(2) of the above mentioned Act, the State Election Commissioner, U.T., Chandigarh hereby determines the wards reserved for Scheduled Castes and for women (including women belonging to Scheduled Castes) for the General election to the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh, 2021 as given in the table below :—
