CORRIGENDUM

The 10th November, 2021

No. A-2/2021/Engg.Deptt/Group-A/06.—This is corrigendum to the notified Recruitment Rules called "the Sub Divisional Engineer, Executive Engineer and Superintending Engineer (Civil) in Building and Road Wing, Engineering Department, Union Territory of Chandigarh Recruitment Rules (First Amendment), 2020 as notified vide notification bearingNo.A-2/2020/Engg.Deptt/Group-A/RR-Amendment/01, dated 24.06.2020. In the aforesaid notified Recruitment rules the following note was incorporated under Column No.9 to the post of Sub Divisional Engineer (Civil) :

Note:

"The Sub Divisional Engineer appointed through Direct recruitment shall undergo one month's Induction Training from an Institute designated by the department in the field of duties or responsibilities of the post immediately".

(2) For the existing entry in Column No.9 the following note shall be substituted, namely :—

Note:

"The Sub Divisional Engineer appointed through Direct recruitment shall undergo one month's Induction Training Course from an Institute designated by the department in the field of duties or responsibilities of the post immediately after their appointment and such training shall be part of successful completion of probation".

(3) All other rules as provided in the notified recruitment rules dated 24.06.2020 shall remain unchanged.

(4) This issues with the approval of the Chief Engineer-cum-Special Secretary (Engineering), Union Territory, Chandigarh.

Notification

The 4th November, 2021

No. E&T-ETO (Ref.) 2021/ 7505.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (3) of the section 8 of the Punjab Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Punjab Act No. 8 of 2005), as extended to Union Territory. Chandigarh and all the powers enabling him in this behalf, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh hereby makes the following amendments in Schedule 'I' appended to the said Act, by dispensing with the condition of previous notice. The said amendment would come into effect from midnight of 04th November, 2021.

AMENDMENT

In the Schedule 'l' appended with the Punjab Value Added Tax Act, 2005, as extended to the Union Territory of Chandigarh, for the figures, signs, words and entries existing at Serial No. 2 & 3, the following figures, signs, words, and entries shall be substituted, namely :—

"2 Diesel/ High Speed Diesel

.. 6.66% or fixed rate of Rs. 5.07

per litre whichever is greater.

3 Petrol including branded premium petrol .. 15.24% or fixed rate of Rs. 12.42

per litre whichever is greater"

However, till, 04th November, 2021, the rate of tax on "Petrol including branded premium petrol" is 22.45% or fixed rate of Rs. 12.58 per litre whichever is greater and "Diesel/ High Speed Diesel" is 14.02% or fixed rate of Rs.7.63 per litre whichever is greater as already notified.
