No.LD-2021/ 15139.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act 39 of 1987) read with Rule 3 of the Chandigarh Legal Services Authorities Rules, 1997, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, hereby reconstitutes the Legal Services Authority for the Union Territory, Chandigarh, consisting of the following official and non official members to exercise the powers and perform the functions conferred on, or assigned to it under the said Act :—

No. LD-2021/15143.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act 39 of 1987) read with Rule 3 of the Chandigarh Legal Services Authorities Rules, 1997, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, is pleased to nominate Hon'ble Ms. Justice Ritu Bahri, Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh as the Executive Chairman of the State Legal Services Authority, U.T., Chandigarh, in consultation with Hon'ble the Chief Justice of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh w.e.f 08.10.2021 in place of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Jaswant Singh, who assumed his charge in Orissa High Court.

No. F/348-HIII(1)-2021/16838.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 2(s) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act No.2 of 1974), the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to declare e-Police Station of Chandigarh Police which shall be operative from the Crime Branch, Sector-11, Chandigarh or at any other place where the office is shifted in near future from the date of issue/ publication of this Notification and shall be headed by an officer of the rank of Inspector who will enjoy the powers of officer in charge of e-Police Station for transmission and investigation of all cases registered at e-Police Station and shall have jurisdiction over whole of the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
