The 22nd December, 2021
No. 12/7/30-HII(2)-2021/15148.—Whereas the poll in connection with the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Election is to be held on 24th December, 2021.
And Whereas it is considered necessary to provide opportunity to the public to exercise their right to franchise;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 65 of the Factories Act, 1948 (Act No. LXIII of 1948) and under provision to sub-section (i) of Section 10 of the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958 (Punjab Act No. 15 of 1958) as applicable to the Union Territory, Chandigarh, the Advisor to the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, hereby, fixes Friday, the 24th December, 2021 as the short leave for all the Factories and Shops and Commercial Establishments falling in the area of Ward No. 1 to 35 of Municipal Corporation, Union Territory, Chandigarh.
