No. E&T/EST-2021/8125.—In supersession of the Chandigarh Administration, Excise and Taxation Department, Notification bearing No. E&T/EST-2019/614, dated 04.02.2019 and in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (Punjab Act No. 1 of 1914) as applicable to Union Territory of Chandigarh read with Chandigarh Administration, Department of Personnel order bearing Endst No. 22/1/ 172-IH(4)-2021/16570, dated 18.11.2021, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to appoint Sh. Vinay Pratap Singh, I.A.S as Excise & Taxation Commissioner for the Union Territory of Chandigarh and vesting him with the powers of the Financial Commissioner as extended by the said Act w.e.f. 18.11.2021, the date he assumed the charge of the said post.
