No. DS-UT-Estt-2022/1027.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Notification bearing No. G.S.R. 3267, dated the 1st November, 1966, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Sports Department, Union Territory, Chandigarh (Group 'C' Non-Ministerial Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2004, namely :—

1. These rules may be called the Sports Department, Union Territory, Chandigarh (Group 'C' Non-Ministerial Posts) (1st Amendment) Recruitment Rules, 2022.

2. They shall come into force with effect from the date of issuance of this notification.

3. in the schedule appended to Sports Department, Union Territory, Chandigarh (Group-'C' Non-Ministerial Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2004 in respect of the post of Junior Coach under column (2) & (8), following shall be substituted :—

Junior Coach

(Column 2) Total No of Posts : 20

(Twenty subject to variation/depend on work load).

(Column 8)

Eligibility Criteria :

(i) Should be graduate from a recognized University/Institutions.

(ii) Should possess one year Diploma in Sports Coaching from National Institute of Sports/any recognized University/recognized institute in required discipline provided that in case of games in which regular course is not available in the NIS/Universities/Institutions, candidate should possess Post Graduation in Physical Education (two years integrated course) from recognized University/Institution. Candidate should have sports discipline coaching specialization during Post Graduation in Physical Education course and should have participated at National level in that sports. In case Post Graduation, Physical Education course do not have sports discipline coaching specialization, then candidate should have passed higher License/level coaching course from the concerned National/International Federation.

No. DM/MA/2022/4786.—WHEREAS, in pursuance of Gazette notification No. F. No. X. 11029/ 6/2010-DDAP, dated: 17-07-2012 issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi and order of Secretary Health, Chandigarh issued vide Endst. No. 1/68/FII(6)/2013/1127, dated 09-02-2015, I, Vinay Pratap Singh, I.A.S., District Magistrate, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers vested with me under Section 144 of the Cr.P.C., do hereby order that sale and production of Bottled Correcting Fluids, as well as bottled thinners of any chemical composition, both for ink erasing purposes as well as for nail polish removers and similar other purposes for retail sale, is prohibited within the jurisdiction of Union Territory of Chandigarh, in the public interest for a period of 60 days.

This order shall come into force from zero hours on 08.03.2022 and shall be effective for a period of sixty days up-to and including 06.05.2022.

In view of the emergent nature of the order, it is being issued ex parte and is addressed to the public in general. Any breach of this order would invite action under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code. This order shall be promulgated by publication in the local newspapers through the office of the D.P.R., Chandigarh and by affixing on the notice boards in the office of the undersigned as well as in the District Courts, Chandigarh.
