No. 156692-HIII(3)-2022/8821.—In terms of letter No. 17013/37/2021-PR, dated 21.04.2022 issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to constitute the State Level Inquiry Committee to examine the cases regarding grant of special amnesty to certain categories of prisoners for releasing them in three phases i.e. 15th August 2022, 26th January 2023 and 15th August 2023, to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav), consisting of the following :—
