No. E&T/EST-2022/5027.—In supersession of the Chandigarh Administration, Excise & Taxation Department Notification bearing No. E&T/EST-2021/7489, dated 03.11.2021 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) & (2) of Section 3 of the Punjab Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Punjab Act No. 8 of 2005) as extended to U.T., Chandigarh and all other powers enabling him in this behalf the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to appoint Sh. Harsuhinder Pal Singh Brar, PCS, as Additional Excise & Taxation Commissioner and Deputy Excise & Taxation Commissioner-cum-Collector (Excise) to assist the Excise and Taxation Commissioner, U.T., Chandigarh, for carrying out the purposes of the said Act and to exercise the powers of Deputy Excise & Taxation Commissioner (Appeals) and is further pleased to confer upon him,the powers specified under column 3 to be exercised within the jurisdiction, specified in column 4 of the schedule given below; with effect from the date he assumed the charge in accordance with the order No. 22/2/72/IH(4)-2022/5162, dated 30.03.2022 issued by Department of Personnel, U.T., Chandigarh.

Notification

No. E&T/EST-2022/5031.—In supersession of the Chandigarh Administration, Excise & Taxation Department Notification No. E&T/EST-2021/7497, dated 03.11.2021 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Punjab Excise Act 1914 (1 of 1914) as applicable to the U.T., Chandigarh and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Administrator Union Territory Chandigarh hereby appoints Sh. Harsuhinder Pal Singh Brar, PCS, Additional Excise & Taxation Commissioner, U.T., Chandigarh as Collector for discharging the functions as such under this Act, throughout the Union Territory, Chandigarh with effect from the date he assumed the charge in accordance with the order No. 22/2/72/IH(4)-2022/5162, dated 30.03.2022 issued by Department of Personnel, U.T., Chandigarh.
