No. 2/7/34-H-III(7)-2022/10658.—In order to provide financial relief to the Transport Sector due to the loss of income suffered on account of their restricted movement during COVID-19 Pandemic, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 13 of the Punjab Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1924 as in force in Union Territory, Chandigarh as amended from time to time, is pleased to exempt the Motor Vehicle Tax in respect of following commercial vehicles registered in Union Territory, Chandigarh in public interest :—
