No. 143/E.I./V.D.I (3E).—In pursuance of the Judgment dated 02.08.2017 delivered by Hon'ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh in CWP No. 17111 of 2013 titled as "Nand Lal Versus The Hon'ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana", Hon'ble the Chief Justice has been pleased to allow notional appointment by selection/promotion to Sh. Nand Lal to the post of Offg. Reader in the Pay scale of 15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of 5400/- w.e.f. 03.08.2012 (notionally), by fixing his seniority in the cadre of Reader in the Readers' Selection Process-2012 below Sh. Balwant Ranaut (Petitioner' senior) and above Sh. Raj Kumar (Petitioner's junior). His Lordship has further been pleased to give him promotion to the post of Court Secretary and Special Secretary w.e.f. 08.08.2014 and 11.08.2017, respectively, in the Pay Band of15600-39100 + Grade Pay 6600/- and 15600-39100 + Grade Pay 7600/-, respectively, i.e. the date when his immediate senior/junior were promoted to the said post with placing him in seniority of these cadre as per his previous seniority. He will be entitled for actual benefits of these promotion(s) w.e.f. 27.12.2016 i.e. the date when he actually joined on the establishment of this Court.
