No. P-2/2022/03.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (h) of sub-section (2) of Section 428-A of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh, by the Punjab Municipal Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act, 1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994) read with Chandigarh Administration, Local Government Department, Notification Bearing Nos.2/6/F1(2)-LG-95/12740, dated the 28th September, 1995, No. 2/6/F1(2)-LG-96/6220, dated the 16th May, 1996 and consequent upon the transfer of Water Meter Section of 13 villages under the jurisdiction of the Engineering Department to the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh vide Notification No. 21990 dated 30.11.2018, the Administration, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to order the transfer of one vacant post of Meter Inspector (Group-C Technical) of the Engineering Department to the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh with immediate effect.
