No. 99 Rule Cell/II.D.17 .—Hon'ble the Chief Justice has been pleased to amend the Rule 6-A and Note appended below Rule 6-A of the Appointment and Allocation of Peons on elevation of Judges Rules, 2013 in the following manner :—

In Rule 6-A :- (i) the words 'one peon' occurring after the words 'shall be entitled to

avail the services of' and before the words 'at the expenses of this Court'

are substituted with the words 'two peons' and the word 'peon,' occurring

after the words 'The term of engagement of such' and before the words

'shall be co-terminus with' is substituted with the word 'peons,'.

(ii) The words 'However, with the consent of such regular peon,

his services can also be availed outside Chandigarh and Districts

of Mohali/Panchkula' are inserted at the end of 'Note' appended to

Rule 6-A of the Appointment and Allocation of Peons on elevation of

Judges Rules, 2013.
