No. SW2/SCPD/2024/3890.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 79 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and Section 34 of Chapter XII of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to appoint Ms. Madhvi Kataria W/o Sh. Virendra Kataria, House No. 295-A, Sector 51-A, CHB Flats, Chandigarh, as State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities in the Union Territory, Chandigarh. The term of the State Commissioner will be initially for a period of three years from the date, the State Commissioner assumes the charge of the post. The terms and conditions will be applicable as per the rules notified by the Chandigarh Administration under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018 & amended in 2024.
