No. LD-2025/7677.—In supersession of this Administration Notification bearing No. LD-2021/15221 dated 21.12.2021 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of The Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act 39 of 1987) read with Rule 3 of The Chandigarh Legal Services Authorities Rules, 1997, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, is pleased to make the following amendment in the Chandigarh Administration, Home Department's Notification bearing No. LD-2021/15139 dated 25.11.2021 as under :-

AMENDMENT

In the notification dated 25.11.2021 clause (k) shall be substituted as under :-

No. LD-2025/7671.—In supersession of this Administration Notification bearing No.LD-2025/1348 dated 13.01.2025 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of The Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act 39 of 1987) read with Rule 3 of The Chandigarh Legal Services Authorities Rules, 1997, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, is pleased to nominate Hon'ble Mr. Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh as the Executive Chairperson of the State Legal Services Authority, U.T., Chandigarh, in consultation with Hon'ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh w.e.f 18.05.2025 in place of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Sureshwar Thakur Judge, on account of his Lordship's superannuation.
