No. 9940.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 of The Punjab Prohibition of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955 (Punjab Act No.15 of 1956), as applicable to Union Territory of Chandigarh vide Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification bearing No.S.O.3269 dated 01.11.1966 partially modified vide Notification dated 30.10.1968 and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to make the following amendments in the Chandigarh Administration, Local Government Department, Notification bearing No.6/1/1137-FII(9)-2020/1808 dated 30th January, 2020 (as amended from time to time) (hereinafter referred to as 'said Notification') :

AMENDMENT

1. In the said Notification, in the Table for Sr. No.1 &3 and its corresponding entries at Column No.2,3 & 4, the following shall be substituted namely :

1.	Four wheeler to be sold in the limit of Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh	Rs.1000/-	(1) Regional Licensing Authority, Chandigarh Administration for Private vehicles; (2) State Transport Authority, Chandigarh Administration for commercial vehicles.
2.	Electricity used in limits of Municipal Corporation	6 paise per unit	Superintending Engineer Electricity (OP) Circle, Chandigarh Administration.

This notification shall come into effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
