No. 8 Rule Cell/V.Z.27.—Hon'ble the Chief Justice is pleased to amend existing Rules 11 and 14 of the High Court Establishment (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1973 in the following manner :-
(I) In sub-rule (1)(a)(iv) of Rule 11, the figure "5%" is substituted with the figure '4%'.
(II) In sub-rule (1)(b)(iii) of Rule 11, the figure "4%" is substituted with the figure '3%'.
(III) In proviso to sub-rule (1)(ii) of Rule 14, the figure "4%" is substituted with the figure '3%'.

No. 199 Rules/II.D4.—In the existing Rule 1, clause (a), of Chapter-18 of Punjab and Haryana High Court Rules and Orders, Volume IV, the words 'Book not on the list cannot be purchased without the previous sanction of the High Court and no book can be added to the lists without similar sanction', are substituted with the following:-
'Books not on the lists as mentioned above can also be purchased, if they have
been recommended by the concerned Committee of this High Court and
approved by Hon'ble the Chief Justice.'
