No.1/6/ED/10/21/2026/215.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (h) of Rule 2 read with sub-rule (3) of Rule 5 of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000, the Hon'ble Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, hereby notifies the days for the calendar year 2026 as specified in the table given below, on which the use of loudspeaker or public address system during the night hours between 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, is permitted : -
