NOTICEOFELECTION
No.- vidhaniR.S.Election/2018(l ).- Notice is hereby given that-
(1) An election is to be held of one member to the council of States by the elected members of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly;
Q) Nomination papers may be delilered by a candidate or by any of his proposers, to the Returning Officer or in his absence to the Assistant Returning Offrcer, at Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha Bhavan, Raipur between I L00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on any day (other then public holiday) not later then the 12th march, 2018;
(3) Forms of nomination paper may be obtained at the place and time aforesaid;
(4) Thenominationpaper will be taken up for scrutiny at2.00 p.m. on 13thmarch,2018, at Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha Bhavan, Raipur;
(5) Notice of withdrawal of candidarures may be delivered either by a candidate or his proposer or his election agent who has been authorised in writing by the candidate to deliver it to either of the offrcers specified in paragraph (2) above at his office :efore 3.00 p.m. on the l5th march, 2018;
(6) In the event of election being contested, the poll will be taken on 23rd march, 2018 between the hours of 9.00 in the moming and 4.00 in the aftemoon.
