ln exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) and (3) ofArticle 166 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Chhattisgarh, hereby, makes the following further amendments in the Chhattisgarh Government Rules of Business, namely :-
AMENDMENT
In the said rules and instructions therein,-
1. In Part 1-Rules of Business ofthe Executive Government of Chhattisgarh, in rule 3, after clause (c), the following shall be added, namely :-
"(d) "Secretary" of the department means the Officer posted on Senior most post among the Additional ChiefSecretary Principal Secretary Secretary or Special Secretary (lndependent Charge) posted in that department."
2. ln Part V-Supplementary lnstructions under Rule 13 of the Business Rules, under heading A-Procedure of Secretaries, in Instruction 2, in clause (i) of the Explanation, for the words " a Secretary or an Additional Secretary", the words "a Secretary, Special Secretary ( Independent Charge ), Special Secretary or an Additional Secretary" shall be substituted.
