In exercise of powers conferred by Section 14 of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (No. 33 of 1989), the State Government, with the concurrence of the Hon'ble Chief Justice of High Court of Chhattisgarh and in compliance of Memo No. 1716llli-6-3/ 2003/Checker Bilaspur dated22nd February 201 8, hereby, specifies Court of Sessions mentioned in Column (2) of the Schedule below, for the district mentioned in Column ( I ) of the Schedule, as Special Court to try the offences under the saidAct with effect from2Tth January 2018, namely:-
