THE CHHATTISGARH KARADHAN (SANSHODHAI9 ADHIM'YAM, 2OI8

An Actfurthertoamendthe Chhattisgarh Karadhan Adhiniyam, 1982(No" l5 of

1982 ).

Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Sixty-ninth Year of the Republic of

India, as follows :-

1 (1) This Act may be called the Chlattisgarh Karadhan (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, Short titte and

commencemeirt.

2018.

@ It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In Chhattisgarh Karadhan Adhiniyam, 1982 (No. ¹⁵ of ¹⁹⁸² ), (hereinafterreferredto as Amendment of thePrincipalAct),forsection 6 relating to ForestDevelopmentCess,thefollowingshall section 6' be substituted, namely :-

"6. Saving.- The amendment of Section 6 atd7 shall not affect the validity, invalidity effect or consequences ofanything already done or suffered or any right, title, obligation or liability already acquired, accrued or incured or any remedy or proceeding in respect thereofor any release or discharge ofor from any debt, penalty, obligation, liability, claim or demand or any indemnify already granted or the proof or any act or thing""

3. In the PrincipalAct, Section 7 shall be omitted.

3#il1T. of 4. In the Principal Act, for Section 10, the following shall be substituted, namely

(1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the State Governmentmay,by an order published in the Official Gazette, make such provisions not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as may appear to it to be necessary or expedient for removing the difficulty :

Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry ofperiod of

tr,vo 1rears from the date of commencement of this Act.

Q) Every order made under this Section shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is

made, before the Legislative Assembly of State."
