I. {J} This Ordinance may be eailed the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage)
Ordinance, 20i 9.
{r} It shall extend to the whoie of India except the

6. Ir{otwithstanding anything contained in any other law fcr the time being in force, a married Muslim $,ornan sha1l be entitled to custcdy of her minor children in the event of pronounaement cf talaq by her husi:and, in such manner as may be
determined by the Magistrate.

(c) no per$an acsused of an offlence punishahie under this Ordinanss shall be released on bail unless th* Magistrats, on nn application filed by the accused and after hearing the mamicd Muslim woman upsn whom talaq is pronoun*cd, is satisfied that there are rea$onable grau*ds f*,r granting bail t* such person.
