' 2. In tlle Chhattisgarh Vishwavidyalaya Amendment of Adhiniyam , Lg⁷³ (No. ²² qf ¹⁹⁷³), (hereinafter sectiou ¹⁴' referred to as the Principal Act), in Section 14, for sub-section (6), ttle following shall be

substihrted, namelY: -'

"(6) In tl:e event of the occrurence of any . vacancy in the ollice of the Kulapati by

reason of his death, resignation, leave, illness or otherwise including a

Amendment of

In the Principat Act, for Section 36, the Section 36.

following shall be substituted, namely:-

"36. Statutes how made.-(1) The first statutes

of the University shall be prepared by the

State Government;

(5) (a) An¹, rnemtrer of tl-rc iixccutive Council may propose to the Executive Council the draft of a Statutes axd the

Executive Council may either accept, or

reject the draft, if it relates to a matter not falling within the purview of the

Academic Council;

{b) In case such draft relates to a matter within the purwiew of the Academic Council, the Executive Council shall refer it for consideration of the Academic Council, which E&y,-

(i) either report to tlre Executive Council that it does not approve ttre d.raft, which shall then be deemed to have been rejected by the Executive

Council;

(ii) or submit the draft to the Bxecutive Council in such form as the Academic Council may approve and the Executive Council may either approve, with or without amendment

(7) A Statutes passed by the Executive

For Section 38 of the Principal Act, the

Section 38" following shall be substituted, namely:-

"38.Ordinances how made.- (1) All Ordinances except the first Ordinance

shall be made by the Executive Council.

(2) Any Ordinance made by the Executive Council shall be sent to the State Governrnent who with its recommendation shall submit it before the l(uladhipati for - his approval. Kuladhipati may either

accept or reject the Ordinance.

(3) An Ordinance made by the Executive Council shall come into force from the

5. In entries of column (2) of seriai numbcr 2 ot Part-II (Revised) of the Second Schedule of the Principal Act, for the v/ords "Sarguja Vishwavidyalaya", the words "Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya, Surguja" shal1 be

substituted.

6. In clause (b) of sub-section (a) of Section 7 ot
